Trucker's wife once again
Well, my husband is a trucker once again. He's been jumping from job to job over the past year or so and nothing has worked out. I'm just glad he's had his CDL to fall back on. I miss him, but I know he's doing it for us and he'll be home before I know it. It kinda sucks being so attached, but absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Downtown San Antonio
Went to downtown San Antonio with my good friend Kevin today. Saw the Alamo and went to check out the Menger Hotel, which is supposedly haunted. Several hallways had a very heavy feeling, but other than that, we didn't see or hear anything. Then we walked around the Riverwalk for a little bit. It was a good day :)
New blog, new dog
I had a blog a WHILE back and never really posted. Have iPhone, have app, will blog. Last time I posted, we had the two dogs and Stormi, I believe. We have a new addition!
I was working (night shift, patrol officer) about three weeks ago and came up on a dog carrier on the side of the road. I slammed on my brakes and prayed there wasn't a dog inside. I put the truck in reverse and to my dismay and disgust, a puppy was inside the carrier. A coworker and I got him back to the apartment where I gave him food and water. The plan was to take him to the Humane Society on that Monday (I found him around 2am Sunday morning and finally got him to my apartment around 4am). Well, my husband (Dan) fell in love with the puppy and we ended up keeping him. He had a sore on his back that we had to get taken care of by the vet. Meds and love over three weeks have healed him quickly and he's gaining weight. Unfortunately he had worms but I gave him a de-wormer and he seems to be doing better. He gets fixed tomorrow! I hope it calms him down a little. We aren't supposed to have three dogs in the apartment but I'm glad we didn't take him to the HS. Turns out they euthanize Pitbulls, which is so very disappointing. I named him Austin since I found him off of Austin Highway and he's about 6 months old. Probably 7 now.
